World Mission Foundation Bible Institute & Pentecostal Seminary was founded in December 1991 by Rev (DR) Michael O. Adekoya, (Haggai Institute Alumnus S.278)the founder of Praise Chapel Living Church .

It started Admitting Students in 1992, and Lectures for the First set of Students of Diploma in Biblical Studies Started in July 1992 and the Students were Graduated in December 1992.

We are an Organization working between Churches, Denominations and Nations to raise up laborers for the harvest field of the World.

God is intending taking dead Men and women and making them spiritually alive.

Our programmed is designed to reach every level of the body of Christ.

The Bible based programmed at the World Mission Foundation Bible Institute is geared towards training the average laymen, Businessmen, civil servants, Church workers and making them what God intends them to be.

Many people have hungered for a Basic Bible college or a Theological Seminary which takes them up to Three or Four Years to Graduate, but they may not eventually be able to get to these institutions for Financial reasons or otherwise.

Jesus is crying that the Laborers are few, but the harvest is plenty, therefore in order to release laborers into the harvest field without impediments, our Institute has removed all barriers that can hinder you from receiving Basic Bible training which qualifies you as a worker in the harvest field of the World.

This Institute is blessed with a cream of outstanding and spirit filled instructors who will impart life to students from the word of God.

By the time you complete any of our courses, your life, and business will not remain the same again.

DEGREE PROGRAMME (to commence soon)
BACHELOR OF DIVINITY (B.D)
Our Primary Programme, the Bachelor of Divinity takes precedence in our course offerings and in giving shape to our overall seminary environment.
The B.D Programme may be completed in Two years.
The pre requisite for this programme is: at least First degree of any university; or GCE O level with 4 credits including English Language, or Diploma of any recognized Bible Institute (your transcript should be forwarded to us)

MASTER OF DIVINITY (M.Div.) The M.Div Programme requires a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or College for admission.
Students who have any first degree but not in Theology or Divinity will be required to take courses in specified areas before being allowed to continue beyond the first year of their seminary studies.
Gifts differ among those who have been called, therefore we make provision for this fact by offering specialization within the M. Div programme, by concentrating his or her electives a student may receive the M.Div Degree with an emphasis in Biblical studies, Church Growth, Missions and Evangelism or Ethics.
A student will be awarded the M.Div Degree upon the completion of:
(a) The 96 Credit Hours (b) The required Cumulative GPA (c) The Practical Training.

DOCTOR OF DIVINITY or DOCTOR OF MINISTRY PROGRAMME

The world Mission Foundation Pentecostal seminary has designed the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) and Doctor of Divinity (D.D) programmes both in contents and in schedule to meet the active ministers needs.
Our goal is to enable the minister to be thoroughly furnished with the Word of Truth, to draw upon biblical, Historical, Ministry resources, and to attain a higher degree of professional competence in his/her practice of Ministry.
We have particularly designed the core courses to deepen a students understanding and to sharpen his/her ministerial skills in major leadership areas in the ministry, e.g. preaching, counseling and church life.
The Duration is one full time academic calendar year, but the work will spread out to take care of full time pastors.
The D.Min or D.D Degrees are awarded upon the successful completion of 62 credit hours
Applicant must hold the M.Div Degree from a recognized Seminary or University.
The APPLICANT MUST HAVE A MINIMUMM OF Three years of professional experience in the Gospel Ministry, directly Church related with some demonstrated skills, the evaluation of which we shall get from the candidates referee form.
A personal Interview shall be conducted before Admission is granted.
The Apex of the programmed is the Doctorate project; in writing a dissertation.
The project must demonstrate the student's ability to build an adequate bridge between theory and practical.
The dissertation (at least 10,000) words must be sufficient in length to demonstrate an ability to integrate expository and spiritual insight with the understanding of the practice of ministry in our contemporary context.

GENERAL ACADEMIC STANDARD
Students should note that Academic degrees do not represent merely an accumulation of credits, but a general scholarly mindset and growth in spirit. Moreover a Degree, being academic does not in itself constitute certification of abilities for the Ministry.
Our purpose is to stimulate each student with Love for God's Word, learning what God's Word really says and applying it to every living situation. If a student vigorously applies himself to this task, a profound satisfying intellectual and spiritual growth experience should result
CREDIT
A Unit of Credit (Credit Hours) measures a quantity and represents the amount of credit given for class attendance in hours throughout the semester.
GRADE POINT
A Grade Point measures the quality assigned according to the grading system in force:
GRADES GRADE POINT
A - Excellent (carries 4 Grade Points)
B - Good (carries 3 Grade Points)
C - Pass (carries 2 Grade points)
D - Marginal (carries 1 Grade point)
F - Fail (carries 0 Grade Point)

In our College, Excellence is our Goal therefore students must not fall below the Marginal level. Though re-sits are allowed.
The highest grade allowable on a re-sit is C and the F will stand on the student's permanent record.
